A traditional phinisi is the classic way to sail it — a week from Labuan Bajo takes in Padar, Kanawa, Manta Point and the quiet southern bays. Peak season is April to October.

The yacht and its full professional crew — captain, chef, deckhands and, on larger vessels, a stewardess and a dive guide. A private chef cooks to your table, and watersports toys, tenders and dive gear are usually aboard. Fuel, provisioning, drinks and port and national-park fees are billed separately via the Advance Provisioning Allowance. We arrange transfers, the itinerary and any special requests.

A phinisi is a traditional Indonesian wooden sailing schooner, hand-built in South Sulawesi and refitted to full luxury — ensuite cabins, a chef's galley, sun decks and dive facilities. It is the signature vessel of Indonesian cruising and the classic way to sail Komodo and Raja Ampat.
For the prime vessels in high season — Komodo from April, the Mediterranean in summer — six to twelve months ahead. Shorter lead times are often possible off-peak or with flexible dates; our concierge holds availability the moment you decide.
